Excellent graphics too! All you need for a great camping trip. this site is packed with photos, site directory a good forum and a regular newsletter - go sign up!! A most comprehensive self explanatory site with some good deals on kit. Terrific website listing sites that allow open fires, with some good sections on building fires and recipes for cooking on them! A great site all round. Particularly strong on identifying good sites with write-ups from visitors and a great section on sites allowing campfires. The book is cool too. A real lesson in how to put a little thing together. The only magazine in the UK dedicated to the wonderful world of camping and life under canvas. Regular features and articles include expert buying advice on the latest tents and camping gadgets.
www.ukcampsite.co.uk It's a bit busy and sometimes hard to read, having said that, it is probably the most comprehensive site detailing hundreds of campsites all over this island of ours and does come in bloody useful when planning a trip away! You can't go camping without a map and there's none makes maps as good as ordnance survey
